blog # 5
hey again today I am visiting the Nullarbor Plain it's in the country of Australia. The capital is Canberra. the Indian ocean is the only thing that boards it no countries boarder Australia. the GPS coordinates are 20 degrees south and 130 degrees east. It is very hot in Australia . Th plain looks long dry and has grass on it and sometimes wet. Historically, the Nullarbor was inhabited by the nomadic Spinifex Aboriginal people, despite the lack of surface water and land suitable for cultivation. The average rainfall on the Nullarbor Plain is about 200mm per year. It's important because European settlers were determined to cross the plain, despite the hardships created by the nature of the Nullarbor. Although Edward John Eyre described the Plain as "a hideous anomaly, a blot on the face of Nature, the sort of place one gets into in bad dreams", he became the first European to successfully make the crossing in 1841. It's about 1200 miles away from Argentina. I travel by bout acrossed the ocean. I was just very long and tiering but everything went smoothly. It cost about $900 to get there. Has I said long and I kidd of got sea sick but I am okay now.
